Before becoming a singer-songwriter, Aaron was a Canadian international rugby player. From Team Canada's tours of South America to university rugby in Victoria, the sport has always been an integral part of his life.
Influenced by island life and the American West Coast, Wylder's musical style is characterized by a blend of Americana and indie folk. He currently divides his time between Montreal and Victoria. He is almost always found with a guitar in hand. He is currently recording his first studio album, which is scheduled for release this spring 2026.
