Les Castors Célestes are a singer-songwriter duo, one from France, the other from Canada, now based in Harrington Valley, Quebec.
They have recorded two albums of original songs together, which can be heard on the website www.caluprod.bandcamp.com.
Returning to the roots of the so-called "song with lyrics," they offer us a journey through time through hits by Charles Aznavour, Georges Brassens, Jacques Brel, Joe Dassin, Léo Ferré, Georges Moustaki, and Édith Piaf, all in a warm, relaxed, and acoustic atmosphere: guitar, vocals, and bass.
Enough to recall the bohemian Saint-Germain-des-Prés of Paris from the 1950s to the 1970s for some, or to discover a bygone facet of the old world for others.
