The singer delights us with his interpretations of several Portuguese classics, preserving their original flavor. He also draws from the French repertoire of Pierre Barouh (Samba Saravah), George Moustaki (Les eaux de mars), Pauline Ester (Une fenêtre ouverte), Diane Tell (Gilberto), as well as those of Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole. Throughout the show, Jean-François Léger recounts, through stories and songs, the story behind this grand adventure. You'll never listen to The Girl from Ipanema the same way again!
The show premiered on a warm summer evening in 2012 as part of the Hudson Music Festival. Since then, the show has been presented with great success in Quebec.
On July 23, 2017, the show was presented as part of the Prestige Evening at the renowned Nuits d'Afrique International Festival in Montreal, which also programmed it again in October 2021 to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Nuits d'Afrique Productions at the famous Balattou club in Montreal.
